Policy Concerning The Eureka! Project
TheStoryBoard (we/us) wishes to acquaint all those (you) who have submitted or intend to submit, without limitation, ideas, material, characters, titles and pitches, with our policy concerning the use of such submitted material in relation to The Eureka! Project.
The Eureka! Project is intended to generate a story for a movie made for children, by children. TheStoryBoard can offer no guarantee that the movie will ultimately be made or, in the event of it being made, the nature of its distribution, or that ideas, material, characters, titles or pitches submitted by you will ultimately be used.
By sending submissions by mail, electronic tranmsission, personal delivery or otherwise, you agree that the contents of the submissions will be deemed, and will remain, the property of TheStoryBoard and may be used, copied, sublicensed, adapted, transmitted, distributed, publicly performed, published, displayed or deleted as we see fit, and TheStoryBoard will exclusively own all now known or hereafter existing rights in and to any submitted content throughout the universe in perpetuity and we will be entitled to unrestricted use of it for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, by all means and in all media now or hereafter known or devised. We will use all best efforts to inform, credit and involve you should your material be used in The Eureka! Project, but by submitting material you agree that you are not entitled to any compensation in connection with the submission and you further agree that you waive the right to make any claim against TheStoryBoard or its affiliates relating to such submitted material.
It is the intent of this policy to avoid the possibility of future misunderstandings when materials developed by or at the request of TheStoryBoard might seem to others to be similar to their own creative work. We can receive and review materials only if it is left up to us to determine whether we have in fact used such materials and to decide what compensation should be paid in the event of such use.
